Discover the magic of theatre with Ohio Musical Theatre Institute’s Summer Camps! Perfect for aspiring performers, these week-long camps are designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and develop essential skills in acting, singing, dancing, and more.

Overall Details:

• Cost: $400 per camper

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM

• Extended Care:

  • Before-Camp Care: Available from 8:30 AM-10:00 AM for an additional $10 per day.

  • After-Camp Care: Available from 4:00 PM-5:30 PM for an additional $10 per day.

• Week by Week Breakdown:

  • Week 1: July 6th-10th - Intermediate Triple Threat

    • Grades: K-12

    • Description: Our Intermediate Triple Threat summer camp is designed for performers who already have some foundational experience in acting, singing, and dance and are ready to refine their skills. This focused program challenges students to deepen technique, improve performance quality, and grow as confident, well-rounded musical theatre artists. Through structured training, collaborative ensemble work, and performance-based exercises, campers will strengthen their versatility and take the next step beyond beginner-level theatre training.

  • Week 2: July 13th-17th - Advanced Triple Threat

    • Grades: K-12

    • Description: Our Advanced Triple Threat summer camp is an intensive training experience for dedicated performers with strong prior experience in acting, singing, and dance. This high-level program focuses on refining technique, expanding range, and developing professional-level performance skills. Campers will be pushed through advanced material, detailed coaching, and ensemble-driven work that emphasizes precision, storytelling, and artistry—preparing students for auditions, leading roles, and pre-professional musical theatre opportunities.With fun activities and a final showcase to spotlight every camper’s talent, these camps are a can’t-miss experience for young performers!

  • Week 3: July 20th-24th - Little Steps to Broadway

    • Grades: K-12

    • Description: Little Steps to Broadway is a fun, welcoming introduction to musical theatre for younger performers or those brand new to the stage. Campers will explore the basics of acting, singing, and movement through playful games, creative storytelling, and age-appropriate musical theatre activities. This nurturing program focuses on building confidence, imagination, and a love for performing while helping students take their very first steps toward the magic of Broadway.

  • Week 4: July 27th-31st - Advanced Study

    • Grades: 7th-12th

    • Description: The Advanced Study camp week is a high-caliber, application-based intensive designed for serious theatre students in grades 7–12 who are ready for rigorous, focused training. This program offers in-depth study in performance technique, musical theatre skills, and professional practices through advanced coursework and personalized feedback. Admission is selective; students must submit a headshot and résumé for review and acceptance prior to registration.
