    Allen DeCarlo-Boyd, a seasoned theatre director with 13 years of experience teaching at Pickerington High School North, stands as a pillar of artistic excellence in the community. Notably recognized as Teacher of the Year, Allen has garnered accolades including two CAPA Marquee Awards for Best Direction and two CAPA Marquee Awards for Best Production. His dedication to nurturing talent is evident in his mentorship of two Best Actor/Actress CAPA Marquee Award winners who have gone on to compete nationally in The Jimmy Awards.

    Beyond his achievements in education, Allen's stage presence extends to his own performances. From embodying roles like Chino in West Side Story with the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra to captivating audiences as Choreographer/Dance Lead/Mark in Working and a Grand Homme in Once On This Island, Allen's versatility shines through. His theatrical repertoire includes memorable portrayals such as Male Cop/Ensemble in Urinetown: The Musical at Northern Kentucky University, Issachar in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Eugene in Grease, Ickes in Annie, and Lead Dancer in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels with Jersey Productions. Additionally, he has graced the stage of the Showboat Majestic in Sweet Charity and made appearances in the "Anna Sun" music video for Walk The Moon.

    As a principal dancer for Pones Inc. Dance Company, Allen's commitment to the performing arts is unwavering. He attributes his success to the unwavering support of his parents, husband, professors, and friends.

    Emily Kirtland has been a part of the musical theatre scene in Columbus for almost 20 years now. From private vocal coaching, college audition prep, music directing, directing, and producing she has seemingly touched all parts of building and putting up a musical. Emily founded OMTI in 2017 when she saw the need for a higher standard of education for local theatre students in Central Ohio. It has been a pleasure to watch hundreds of students come through the program and grow as performers and people both on and off the stage for the last seven years. During the school year, Emily is fortunate to be the Vocal Director at Pickerington High School North.
